My Story
My journey into art has been anything but traditional. After a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic and years devoted to raising my two daughters, I found myself drawn to creative pursuits, beginning with succulents and eventually discovering a passion for color, texture, and design that led me to painting.
In 2018, I discovered the captivating world of fluid art and was instantly hooked. What began as curiosity quickly became a passion and launched me on a journey of continuous learning, experimentation, and artistic growth. Since then, I've exhibited my work throughout the Los Angeles area, taught students from around the world, and shared my creative process through workshops and online content.
I was proud to be a co-founder of the Fluid Art Boutique, a collective of artists that brought fluid art workshops to communities across the United States and internationally. Through those experiences, I developed a deep love for teaching and helping others discover their own creative voice.
Today, one of my greatest joys is welcoming artists of all experience levels into a supportive and inspiring learning environment. Whether you're discovering fluid art or looking to refine your skills, my goal is to help you build confidence while exploring the endless possibilities of fluid art. My classes cover everything from color theory and paint consistency to composition, negative space, large canvas techniques, and many of the tips and tricks I've learned through years of experience.
Opening By The Sea Studio & Gallery has been a dream come true. I envisioned a beautiful coastal-inspired space where I could create, teach, connect with fellow artists, and share my work with the community. Here you'll find original artwork, classes and workshops, special events, and a welcoming gallery where creativity is celebrated every day.
The studio also serves as the home of my YouTube channel, where I continue to share fluid art tutorials, inspiration, and creative discoveries with a community of more than 116,000 subscribers around the world. When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me enjoying life in California with my Husband of Awesomeness, Brian, and our two teenage daughters.
